    Hello

I have to create like 50 titles.
There will all appear the same manner, just the title will change.
Instead of losing time doing this by hand, i want to loose time learning how to do it easyly via script and/or expression.

Please give me a link to tutorial and/or some advice.

    Thanks.

Possibly you won’t need any scripts, take a look at the text-animation-presets in the helpfiles.

Dependeing on the look you’re after, that could be all you need.

This is a bit of an ridiculous idea IMO. Why not simply save all your text parameters to an preset and then re-apply it everytime you need it? Or even simpler: Clone the comp once it’s perfect and just change the text string… You know, AE doesn’t give a damn thing what this string is and maintain all animation parameters even if you have a hundred or so text naimators applied. Just a thought.

Ah, I see. In that case check motionscript.com and aenhancers.com. They both provide some scripts that show how to read text lines from files and apply expressions to parameters. Well, but I’m afraid that won’t help you that much – all text formatting must be applied manually, since parameters such as font face and font size are not accesible from scripts and expressions – all the script could do is create your comps and basic parameter keyframes as well as attach your expressions.

    I guess it’s what I need :
    https://www.motionscript.com/ae-scripting/create-text-layers-from-file.html

    I will explore that.
Thank you very much for your support.
