    Hello.

I’ve had very little luck with finding information on how textless backgrounds are delivered and was hoping that someone could brief me on the delivery protocol (in my particular case the closing credit sequence is the only textless element that is needed). While I understand that these elements need to be repeated at the tail of the film, do I bookend each clip with a specific slate or timecode? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Delivering a 2nd texted version as a guide is pretty much standard in my experience.

The way I do it is the have the texted version in the film and then just repeat the whole video sequence of the credit BG from the last cut (if you dissolve into the credit sequence go back to the last cut before) to the end without any text. I start this textless version not before at least 30 sec of black after the film and I start on either full minute or half minute. This way anybody can create their own text and has a clean cut point to avoid any level jumps.

I also provide a written list of which textless BG goes where in the film with TC ref.

This is all great information. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you, Carsten.

    Hi,

Basically for Textless elements what you have to do is copy the whole sequence in the end and just remove the written graphics including all credits and subtitles?
