I’ve created a DVD menu in Motion (working in ver. 2.1.2). I started with one of the Motion templates but tweaked it quite a bit. I have an odd problem.

The letters in the largest title are not smooth. The effect is of being folded and then straightened out again and you can still see where the fold is on the edges. Any idea? It looks perfect in motion and it doesn’t show up when exported as a quicktime from motion. Only when brought into DVDSP.

you dont need to do a full export from motion to import into DVDSP. You can import the motion file directly as an asset through the “file” menu it might sort that out for you.

I have been bringing the motion file in directly.

Actually, I figured out the problem. I’ve been starting with a template which is 720 x 486. DVDSP is 720 x 480 so the difference in 6 pixels creates this problem. My solution was to create a new motion project at 720 x 480 and then copy and paste the template into it. All wrinkles disappear.

    thanks,

    Mark
