Text Watermark With Solid Background?
Vegas Pro 9.0
I have a video that already has a text watermark on it. I need to be able to add a new watermark over the top of it with a solid background, thus allowing the older text watermark to be fully hidden.
Easy way to do this? I would think so but I played around for a bit and I couldn’t find it.

I would use the Text Generator and go to the Properties tab and select that background color that you want for the text. Then use the Pan/Crop tool to crop the background to just the area that you want (because it will fill the frame otherwise). Turn off the stretch to fill frame option in Pan/Crop before you crop so that the text doesn’t get resized.
