Text transition: Fade from left to right?
I’ve been using a lot of fade ins with my text and I’m trying to fade text in from left to right. I know I can fade in or dissolve in, and can do an edge wipe from left to right but I want the edge wipe to be faded rather than a solid wipe. How do I do this?

In the Motion tab keyframe a fade-up using opacity. Then apply the edge wipe. Experiment with applying some feathering to see how that looks. You can probably also do this with a Nest.
