Text Problem
Hey, I’m running FCP 6.0.5 on a MBP with 10.5.6. I’ve got a really strange problem. I’ve always been able to create text in FCP and either drag it into the time line or drag it into the canvas window to drop it. However, a little while ago , it stopped letting me do that. Rather than being just a drag and drop, it just plain won’t let me drag it anywhere out of the viewer window. Sure it moves within the viewer window, but I can’t drag it off the window. I’ve tried looking up the problem on the net, but I get nothing. In the meantime, I can go into LiveType and do the text there, but I’m hoping there’s a solution. Any ideas would be great.

YOu have WIREFRAME enabled in the Viewer…turn that off in the drop down menu at the top of the Viewer.
