  • Text layers from InDesign -> Photoshop (to be used in AE)?

    Hi again!
Is there a workaround to keep text layers from Indesign into Photoshop? to be later used in AE?
Thanks so much for any tip!

You can do it if you add Illustrator to the mix.

    1) Export from InDesign as PDF

    2) Open PDF in Illustrator, export as Photoshop in such color format that allows exporting with layers and preserving text editability, (generally CMYK)

    3) Open in Photoshop, convert to RGB, retaining layers, save

    4) Import to AE (I guess you already know the required settings and what to do from here)

    Wow…
what a round-trip… for a couple of dozen files with a lot of titles…
    Oy.

Some one told me there might be somekind of script for that. I will try digging, although im not on the Indisign side…

    Thanks again Kalleheikki!
