Text in 3d space
I draw a semi- circle line path(mask) with the pen tool. Create a line of text.
Transferr text to mask (path). Go to 3d. Rotate x axis 90 degrees. Now text is flat. Just the edge is seen. How do I get the text to stand up off the rotated path so you can see the text face when it travels the semi- circle mask from distant to fore. -

set the text’s X orientation to 90 or -90. It’s under the rotation property.
