Hello-
Wow, well as you might guess, when it comes to Photoshop, there are usually eight ways to do any one thing!

Really comes down to exact effect and personal preferences.

That might help get what you want with the tools you specified.

As for placing back into InDesign once you’re done, any graphic format can be placed into InDesign. Eps or tiff are the most common.

I’ll take a look at the tutorial you suggested.
I’m begining to wonder if this might be able to be accomplished in Illustrator?
I appreciate your advice and am excited to hear more ideas if you have any.
