Text effect following object
Hi there,
I’m trying to make a text follow a shape, not a mask. Hard for me to explain, here is a picture of what i would like to do, is that possible ?

I’d like the text not to follow the yellow path but the blue surface.

You can do that by pre-comping your text move, then make the comps 3d and arrange in the box or whatever shape you want them to follow. Use masks to trim the edge of the pre-comp where the intersections are located.
