text area linked to a button / highlighted button
How can I set up my menus and buttons so there is an “information” area describing the button you have highlighted? Where the area would change based on what button you have highlighted. So I could have it say “This will play the movie” when the Play button is highlighted, and then it says “This lets you select a specific chapter” when you have the chapter select button highlighted. Etc etc…

this is not possible for DVD under normal circumstances – because of DVD-spec.
you can create it using a workarround, but this is not very good, as it would have very slow navigation.
it would be easily possible with blu-ray-disk and a full-spec-authoring-tool, but to do so with encore is a bit more tricky.
