Hello again, I have one simple task and it’s proving incredibly hard for me…I have some text and I have a shape..what I want is to delete that text within the shape so it has a hole in the shape of the text? I have uploaded an image of a good example what I mean..thank you

Boole A subtract B is what your looking for.
Make the text as normal. Make the shape. Place them both as children of the boole.
Boole can be found in the same menu as Arrays.
If you text is cutting out from your shape the hiarchy goes like this:
    BOOLE
    -Shape
    -Text

If the text is higher than the shape it will be backwards. Try it and have a look …. always good to know what happens.

Boole objects suck the life out of your computer so use them with caution and it might be worth while to make it editable when you are 100% happy.

You don’t have to use a boolean if you want the text to punch all the way through the shape. Just make the text spline editable (if it isn’t already), select it and the the outer shape spline, and run the connect command to form a single spline. Then extrude the single spline.
