  Tethered Canon 7D into FCP?

  I have a Canon 7D and FCP. I want to shoot my acting class with the camera — capturing it “live” to FCP. So I can then play that clip back — any ideas how I can do that — and what gadgets I might need to buy to make that work?

  I’m assuming I have to be tethered (by HDMI?) — any way to wirelessly transmit video?

  If tethered, what’s the maximum length the cable be?
