Test pane greyed out in the Motion Inspector pane
Hi there,
I have just bought a new imac (3.2 ghz intel core i3) and have installed Final Cut Studio. To my dismay, when creating titles in Motion 4, in the inspector, the text pane is greyed out allowing me to only control text using the HUD. Also, motion keeps on hanging…
Does anyone have any idea why it’s doing this?
I have uninstalled and then re-installed FCS twice and have trashed my preferences for motion under users.
Tearing my hair out now…
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you run all the software updates? Early versions of motion were notoriously unstable…?
