Terrible results exporting gradient mesh
Hi,
I’m having trouble exporting an image created using the gradient mesh as an svg. For some reason I don’t understand the exported image is really jagged. Can anyone tell me what the problem could be? I’ve attached two screnshots, one of the Ai doc, the other of the exported SVG.

Perhaps document raster settings? Set them to 300 dpi instead of 72 dpi and try again. I’m not sure if SVG effects are affected by it, but they might.

Thanks for your suggestion Kalle. That did actually help quite a bit. Not perfect but probably good enough for the job at hand. From what I gather it’s to do with how Illustrator exports SVGs, in that it uses PNGs in an SVG wrapper (or something to that effect at least). Anyway, thanks for your help. Much obliged.
