  Teranex. Standards converter and Ultrastudio I/O?

  Does anyone have any real world experience with the Teranex 2D from BMD in terms of how it functions as an I/O device? I have read somethings that make it seem it could be a little limited in this sense. Some saying you need to unplug the thunderbolt to use it as a converter and vice versa.

  If it has the functionality of a decklink / ultrastudio as well as fully functioning converter it truly is an incredible proposition for the money.

  Are BMD spoiling us or is there a catch to this somewhere?
