Is there a way, or a plugin that will analyze a piece of music or audio track and display tempo markers in final cut pro? I have a way around this if someone cannot provide a better answer, but it is time consuming, so I am looking for a better alternative.

My current solution: Import the song into after effects and use Sound Keys (even the demo works fine for this), find the specific sound that is in sync and link it to a solid layer’s opacity with an expression that limits the opacity to either 0 or 100. Then, export the video file and use it while cutting your sequence into FCP.

So you can see that this is time consuming and very annoying.

    Thanks for your advice.
