OK so I have updated my main editing computer to an AMD 1090t with 8GM ram and an SSD main drive (60gb)
I am wondering if I should set another drive as the temp folder for Vegas and also if there are any other tweaks for swap files and such…thanks again in advance!

    Regards

I would consider it best practice to have one drive for rendering, one for your captured media to reside on, one for your OS and programs. You may not need a swap file or if you do, you can always move it to another drive if it appears to be slowing down access times(but I would make sure it is not your capture or render drives).

As far as moving your temp folder for Vegas, I would not worry about doing that. You should be just fine leaving it in its default directory. If you just have extra hard drives that you want to incorporate, then definitely feel free to move it to another one. 🙂
