Technicolor hues
Hi, I’m new to this forum, and still beginning to learn AE7. I haven’t progressed further than simple rotoscoping and keying right now. I’m currently starting work on a fan film dedicated to the fantastic works of Gerry Anderson, who made shows such as the original Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons and Space: 1999. Most of these shows were shot in the 60s, and thus in Technicolor. As I’m aiming to capture the ‘feel’ of those shows, I was wondering if anyone could tell if there’s a way to achieve those classic, over-saturated colours with After Effects?

You would probably want to play with various color correction effects on your footage using some technicolor footage as reference. I like adjusting Levels on a channel by channel basis (use opt-1, opt-2, opt-3 to change the channel you’re viewing) but Hue/Saturation might work if you’re just aiming to oversaturate your colors.
