Technical Problem with Effects Editor.
Hello, I am Ramirez, or “Lucius Wrath” online.
A few hours ago I had a simple but critical problem with Vegas, that somehow cant be fixed by restarting my laptop.
What happens? Well, do you guys know that icon that when grey means “no effects in this clip” and when it turns green in means “effects in this clip”?
After I add an effect to an event/ video segment, I usually edit/custom-make the effect to my needs.
Some hours ago (I dont know what went wrong) I started to have a problem, in which, if I clicked this green/grey icon to customize the effects in a video segment, the effect-customizing screen doesnt appear. In other words, I press the icon, and its like nothing happened (which is wrong, as the effects-customizing screen should appear). The pan/crop screen icon works, as so does the icon to correct text events. Its just the “effects” icon that doesnt work.The BIG problem? I can only use the default effects! That is, if you know the program, about 4 choices, mostly non-useful options, for each Sony Effect.
Help me please, it is urgent. Thanks.

Maybe the window is appearing off screen? Try reseting your window layouts (i.e., View | Window Layouts | Default Layout).
