I have been asked to teach a simple 2 night class in photo restoration at a local community college. I know Photoshop, but not Elements. I am guessing that most of the people who will sign up for the class will have Elements. I will be teaching beginning restoration. Nothing too advanced. How lost will Elements user be? I do not have access to Elements at this time. I saw a copy several years ago. I could not figure anything out. The college has CS2, and no Elements.

I have never used Elements before but I do know you can download a free trail version from Adobe. You might want to download it and see how much you can and can’t do before class.

Good idea. I wonder if the installation of Elements will interfere with PS? I will try it on an old computer.
