  TC breaks with MC and JVC GY-HD 100

  capturing inside Media Composer (mine is v. 2.5.3)with the JVC-GY HD100 camcorder is only possible “on the fly”. Also “Digital cuts are NOT frame accurate for HDV”. If I get it right, capturing across timecode breaks is not possible. Is that correct or not? From a quick test, I got one single video file in both DV and HDV capturing, although I set software parameters to split files by timecode. Am I missing something or is that indeed a software “weakness”?
