I am a novice. I would like to create a file with the Tascam DR-60D MKii, using channels 1 & 2, recording from the BOYA BY WM8 receiver that will record each of the two mic transmitters on separate tracks. Is this possible? If so, can someone guide me with the settings for the Tascam?

It looks like the Tascam is the easy part. I looked at the manual for the Boya and it is incredibly unclear in describing the functions of the device. It has a LINE OUT, but that appears to be only a MONO output. I say “appears” because the manual does not really specify. If that cable from the LINE OUT actually is a stereo mini-jack, then you could plug that into the “CAMERA IN” input on the Tascam. Then you would set the audio switches on the Tascam to MIC. You can set the other audio parameters in the menu. The Boya is a very entry level unit and the instructions are very poorly written so I wish you luck.
