    Il write down all the settings I have it on wed… because I haven’t changed anything so I’m sure it Wi happen again and I need to fix it so I don’t get fired.

    Ari, you didn’t mention if you checked out my suggestion. If you were recording one track at 10db below the other, it would sound “tinny’. Did you check to make sure that wasn’t the issue?

    I only recorded one track so I think it only recorded at one volume.

    A suggestion for the future, keep the mics on separate tracks for as long as you can, by crash mixing the mics on site very much limits what you can do with the recorded material.

    How do I keep mics on serperate tracks in the dr-60?

    Also how would i fix the issue if it is a “phase” problem.

    Simple…. On the DR60 record as a stereo file with mic 1 plugged into ch1 and mic 2 plugged into ch2, this then gives a stereo file that is then mixed in post production in your computer.

    Ari – Is your “one track” a stereo track or a single mono track?

    Turns out the problem was MS Mode was turned on.
