    Hello,
excuse my stupid question, I’m kind of familiar with AE,
but this is something strange I can’t figure out:
I’m working on targa sequence, which is 7 gigs big export from edius,
but when importing it in AE, it shows only 2 gigs size for all of it?!
Why there is such a difference, and do u think I loose any quallity from this import?!
Thanks a lot, if somebody can answer me!

p.s. 2ghz dual core, 4gb ram, win xp 64 bit, matrox parhelia 256mb with AE CS3

I can only think of ‘missing’ frames. Ensure that your source files are in the location that you point AE to. Also, just maybe, you may have maxed out AE’s sequence import limit – 7GB is a rather large sequence export.

Take note that AE imports files without affecting the original source. So, there shouldn’t be any change in the filezise.

I would re-export out from Edius in a QT.

    Cheers

I would check it, but anyway the quality doesn’t seem to be changed I was just surprized from the difference!

    thanks
