  • Tapes filmed on Sony HDV 1080i… what setting do i use to capture?

I received tapes filmed on a Sony HDV 1080i. I have captured on the HDV setting but when I have exported it, when there is movement it looks kind of blurred. Am I meant to capture on hdv 1080i50 or 60? Is it blurred because of the fps rate? I’m working on a G4 so I know i haven’t got the best specs for it but kind of been backed into a corner with this! Ideally would have liked it in DV!
Any suggestions how to get decent quality (not nec HDV quality) without it taking years to export?

    Thanks

You should amend your question with more clarity and details if you hope to find a solution here.
