At the end of a project. Need advice pertaining to archiving and wanted to see what other users are doing.

    1. Should I keep my camera files on their own drive as if they are a tape.

    2. Going to transfer MXF files to a drive. It makes the most sense to keep each project on it’s own drive but economically it’s more affordable to put a few projects on one drive.

    3. Does anyone practice double redundancy and keep a project on multiple drives. Say a smaller drive for individual projects and then a larger drive with multiple projects.

    4. In the past I’ve encoded an uncompressed quicktime to archive. Does this make sense.

    5. I don’t own a deck but could bring a group of projects to an edit house and dump my final to tape.

Any advice is much appreciated. Trying to establish a standard.
