  Tapeless Acquisition Question

  The DP I’m working with is shooting on a JVC GY-HD700 tapeless camera. I’m looking for a good utility that will allow me to go through the XDCam EX based .mp4 files, set in/out points, add metadata and notes, then import into my Media Composer via AMA. Sony’s XDCAM Transfer is not the answer because this rewraps the source files as .mov’s and I want to maintain the Avid Media Access .mp4 workflow. is the XDCAM Clip Browser the solution? For some reason when I export in XDCAM Clip Browser using the “mxf for NLE’s” my files cannot play correctly within Media Composer and I get a cryptic error message. Does Avid have a product that will do all of this requested stuff? Thanks fellow Bovines..
