Tape Name? Why can’t I enter one for my composition?
I want to be able to modify tape names, is this possible?
I want to be able to give a tape name like VFX001
Currently I have to render the composition, import into FCP7 and modify the tape / reel name. THEN it writes it to the file.
I’d love to be able to do this without that extra step inside FCP7

I hear ya. Its just a pain when you have 300 VFX shots that all need tape names and you need them for the online conforming process to work 🙂

This would make a good feature request [link].
You could also use QtChange [link] or QT Edit [link] to modify reel names.
