Try the equalizers to dial out the hiss in the Audio Filters > Final Cut Pro. If you open the FCP Manual using the Help Menu, you can search for Audio Hiss and it brings up some information on the filters on Page 939

You can also use Soundtrack Pro’s noise reduction which is a little more involved. STP “learns” the noise, then acts to reduce it, leaving the rest of the audio relatively untouched. Here’s a Larry Jordan tutorial on how to do it. https://www.larryjordan.biz/articles/lj_reduce_noise_STP2.html
