taking expression and giving it real world meaning
I am using an expression that is set on rotation and is time*10 does this mean it will rotate 10 times in one minute or…?

That means it will rotate 10 degrees per second.

You can think of “time” as “seconds”. 10 degrees / sec or to be more “grammatical”: ten times as many degrees as seconds since the beginning of the composition
