If I have several projects opened, is there a way to close the sequences for one project when I click on a tab for another project? One project has 8 sequences to it. I want to keep the project open but whenI switch to another project, I weould like to close the sequence tabs. Is this possible or even necessary?

Certainly its not necessary.
It just gets a bit “crowded” in the Timeline Window.
