tabs in vegas pro?
Posted by Maria Maronska on December 28, 2012 at 4:07 pmIs it possible to have tabs in Vegas Pro, like they are in Movie Studio? When I open e.g. Media Generators in Vegas Pro, it opens as a separate window. Instead, I’d like it to be a permanant tab in the same place as it is in Movie Studio.

December 28, 2012 at 4:44 pmMost if not all the windows are dockable in Vegas Pro. Just drag the media generator window to an existing area and it will snap into place as a tab. They show it in this intro: https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/vegaspro12introwebinar
Even if you don’t have version 12 it works about the same.

Yes, and if you use View | Layouts | Default Layout it will set Vegas Pro back up to the window layout when it was first installed which should pretty much be the same a Movie Studio.

December 29, 2012 at 12:18 amAh, perfect, thanks! Strange, but my Vegas installation did not have this layout when it was installed, at least I don’t remember ever changing it.
