I am unable to zoom in and out and so I am curious if its because of the settings i have. I am also seeing zebra lines and I know that has something to do with the white levels but with my settings and the fact that i am shooting using natural light what do I need to do in order to have the proper settings? I will be shooting mostly outside using the light that is available but also on trains and under bridges.

I am trying to shoot with a AG-HVX200p using x2 8GB P2 cards with these settings:

    720p 60fps
    Cine D
    Film camera setting

any help would be greatly appreciated

    thank you

I guess the obvious answer would be check the manual / servo switch at the very front of the camera.

You really need to look deeper in video settings and the manual.

If you are in manual iris, use the iris knob and /or the ND filter. Zebra lines can be set at different levels, but as a general rule, they generally should be only present in the brightest areas of your picture, and those areas may start to be washed out (digital clip), which is not recoverable in post.
