    hello
i have a FCP system that has a 2.66 dual core intel xeon, 4GB ram, os10.4.10 and studio 2 with all updates available on oct 16 2k7
of all the issues that i am having, a big one is that when editing and i should click on the desktop then click back on a FCP window i get the beach ball of death
one item to note is that this happens with and withOUT a DV deck attached via firewire

    many thanks in advance

interesting update… i have narrowed it down to a corrupt sequence -but when i re-launch FCP it defaults to the last open project with the corrupted sequence on the timeline and the beach ball of doom
is there a quick key to disable “load last project”

    thanks again

Move the project file off of the system.

When FCP doesn’t locate the project it is looking for, it will boot with an untitled project.
