  System pricing

  What are you guys paying for recent (2007) Mac / FCP studio systems and basically what did you get for the money?

  I work on PC / Avid and am really interested in a Mac / FCP system. So far though I’ve been a little discouraged by the high price for a “good” system, but maybe I’m looking at the wrong places (Apple Store and systems integrators like ProMax)

  I currently shoot and edit in DV (SD) but will be going to a HDV workflow in the near future. I’d like a desk based system for max expandability. Any pricing / dealer information would be helpful.
