    Hello,

I captured 24f 1080i HD into Vegas 7 (Canon XH-A1). I loaded a small number of clips onto the timeline and attempted to render as a Windows Media Video V9 (.wmv) at 4.8 Mbps HD 720-24p Video. Vegas started to render but then stopped stating that my system is low on memory. I have a video card with 256 MB Ram and I’m running 2Gigs on my system. I have never attempted to edit HD before… Am I doing something wrong? I also noticed that it takes a long time before I can see the clip icons in the “project Media” bin. Any information that might help the performance of my computer would be greatly appreciated.

Your processor is the biggest factor. What is it?

That is slow for HD. I have a 3500 dual core that I gave up on.
