    System hang/freeze problem

    All was working well and then the system started to hang/freeze on me.
    I found this in the event viewer after a major hang/freeze:

    Any firewire device attached and turned on? If not, try deleting Premiere’s preference file by holding down the Shift and CTRL keys while launching Premiere.
