Syncing live video to the speed of actual live sound
In a piano recital hall I have a video camera connected directly to a 50″ LCD also in the recital hall so the audience can monitor the player at different points of view. The audio is live for the audience. Therein lies the problem. The actual The problem. The video on the lcd is slightly slower than the actual speed of sound. So when the audience hears a live key stroke and looks up at the lcd monitor, the video is slightly delayed. Is there any kind of remedy for this? I have tried different cameras and monitors to no avail. It seems video is always going to be slower than real sound speed.
