  Syncing clips in premiere. is Merge the best option.

  Hello Everyone,

  I am starting a new project for a short film on Premiere and I was wondering if merge was the best option for syncing. I know and heard about the problems it causes for the last part of post including grading and sound mix. Is this the best option or is there another way to set up the project so that at final export for grading in Resolve and mixing in Pro Tools it doesn’t become a problem?

  Also does renaming the clips in premiere affect offline/online or any of the mentions above?
