    Hi guys,

I am having a problem here. I have tons of media with SMPTE timecode and I’d like to sync it on one timeline using this timecode. What goes wrong is when I create a multicam sequence with those clips I get a sequence with hundreds of tracks. I should get only two tracks as I have only two cameras. How to make PPCC recognize the cameras? Is there any way to name the clips?

    Thanks for help

I run into the same problem and I’m pretty sure there’s no way currently to tell PPro, Hey, all these clips are from camera 1, all these clips are from camera 2, etc.,. I suggest submitting a feature request so maybe they can address this in a future update.

Hmm.. funny.. I just switched to PPCC from Sony Vegas because it supposed to be more professional. In Sony it works with just one click! 🙂

So in the meantime, open the the Multicam clip in its own timeline and move all the clips down to tracks 1 & 2.
