Syncing 32KHZ and 48KHZ Audio
I am editing video of a presentation / seminar and I’m having an incredibly hard time matching the audio and video due. Here’s what I have:
-Seminar was filmed using a Canon XL2 with audio inadvertently set to 12 bit 32 Khz. I was just using the built-in mic to pickup ambient room noise and audience participation.
– Main audio for the workshop was recorded digitally to a USB flash drive at 16 bit, 48 khz directly from the digital sound board at the event.
The camera audio and video always play fine by itself, but I can never sync it with the audio that was captured on the sound board. Over the course of an hour, stuff slowly gets out of sync. I’ve tried capturing thing the camera audio at both 32KHZ and 48KHZ, but I can still never get it to sync with the other audio.
Any ideas?
