Syncing 100B’s
Well I did my first shoot with 2 100B’s, synced them up according to the DVX book. Everything looked good, was excited to get to the editing and when I imported all my footage, I realized that my timecode had slipped by 14 seconds. I checked the tapes on camera, and it was definitely a problem with the cameras not with the editing software. Any words of advice?

How do you mean slipped? And what method did you use to sync? If all shots are 14 seconds off that’s an easy fix in FCP. Just offset them all on the timeline.

The two cameras ended up being 14 seconds apart. But thinking back, I had changed the battery on one camera after syncing and before shooting, so I’m sure that’s what made the TC slip.
