Synchronise time of all related items
Hey,
has anyone noticed that in AE CC2018 – the footage panel CTI is effectively ganged to the composition panel CTI ?
I used to always have synchronise time on, for jumping in and out of nests I think it’s a really good idea – but now, if I’m scrubbing around a long piece of optical stock for alternate shots, it’s sending the composition current time miles past composition start and end points?
Am I missing a trick or has that just been rolled into the one general synchronise time preference?

actually never noticed this be examining the behavior I see that footage panel’s CTI was always (a few versions back that is) synchronized to the composition panel unless you toggle off synchronized related items in the preferences.
I think it would be a good feature request to ask for another preference specifically to unlink footage panel and timeline panel.
