    Open the Timeline/File/NewTrack/Sound/select the Track/
in the Sound Properties choose your Soundtrack.
And activate Play Sound and Use Sound.

    Cheers

Thank you for the reply Nolan, but where in the world is the sound properties????????????
    Here’s what Im doing….
1.Open the Timeline 2.Selecting an object 3.Adding /File/NewTrack/Sound to object 4.Selecting the new Sound Track 5. LOOKING for the Sound Properties in the attributes menu….no where to be found. What am I missing????? I have another book that is saying to do the same thing you suggest, but where are the sound properties?
    thanks jon

Well, You’re doing it absolutely right.
When you highlight or select the Sound-Track in the Timeline
the Sequence- and Sound-Properties should be visible
    in the Attributes-Manager.
I just checked it here and it works fine (using a Mac).
I presume there is no difference between Mac and PC.

    Cheers

    Well – just a silly idea .
One has to physically click with the cursor on the track
not only the name “Sound” (sorry about this).

    Cheers
