Synching Red Video with Sound Files
Hello,
I’m editing a project in Premiere, using Red camera files. The sound was recorded separately and I need to synch up with the video. I have slates. Should I just synch the sound in a sequence?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Sync sound in sequence and create a merged clip. Do this at the start of your project.
You can sync sound in REDCINE X but you must use exported files, as Premiere does not respect the super fragile link to audio that REDCINE will create.

You can also sync sound by setting in points at the “clap” on both the audio and video and using “merge clips” and choose “In Points” in the “Synchronize Point” option.
