    Hi All,
Been tearing my hair out and trying to find an answer for this.

I have the following situation: I would like to close the gap between the video and audio. When I ripple delete, the video goes all the way back to the beginning, as opposed to the end of the audio track.

Isn’t sync lock supposed to fix this sort of issue? I can’t figure it out. In FCP7, that’d be the default behavior.

I’m not in front of my computer so can’t look at it but I would just use the track tool and snap it to the audio.

    Hi Justin,
Did you ever figure out how to do this? It is also driving me NUTS. 🙂

Alas, no. It’s apparently just something that Premiere doesn’t do. Every time something like this comes up I curse Apple for not giving me FCP 8.
