    Hi everybody.
I’m having a question about syncing audio with video, but there’s an important difference here.
Let’s consider I have a dubbed audio with less duration time (for example: 01:30:20) which is for a censored version of a movie and I wanted to sync it with the original file (for example this one is 01:32:10). Is there any automated process for doing this?
I tried to find a way but all tutorials refer to syncing those videos and audios which are recorded with multiple resources and couldn’t help me.

    Thanks!

    Thank you!
But As I have both them in video clips and not just audio files, What if I use “scene cut detection” capability to detect censored areas in timeline?
Can this work? Really need to find the easiest way for this 😀

Put both clips in a timeline and then highlight both, control click and select sync. Premiere should be able to sync the waveforms.

    Thank you for response.

This method doesn’t work for this case.
    Look at this photo:

    https://pasteboard.co/IgZoS5o.jpg

The censored version of audio is about 43′ and the original is 45′ . and the first censored part is in about 00:34:XX
Looks like there’s no way to match the waveforms automatically.
I need to do it by hand…
