  • Switching Multiclip Active Tracks on the fly?

    Hi all!

I’m trying to speed up my multiclip editing, and have the process of switching and cutting angles on the fly with the keyboard down pat. I’m wondering if there’s a way to switch which Active Tracks are affected by these on the fly as well, without having to leave the keyboard. (In other words, I would love to be able to switch angles, cut angles, AND change whether it’s video or video+audio, all without using the mouse)

Has anyone figured out how to do this by any chance?

    Thanks in advance….

    Hi,

with fcp’s default Multicam keyboard, just pressing the num pad keys switches your angles, CMD + num pad key cuts your angles. Option + num pad will switch your audio. I am not sure that there is a way to select V only or AV with just the keyboard…

    hope this helps
