Switching Extermal Monitor input from “Source Monitor” to “Program Monitor”?
This worked fine in CS6, but I switched to Premiere CC and my external monitor is displaying the contents of Premier’s “Source Monitor”, not the “Program Monitor”.
How do I switch to the viewing the Program Monitor signal in my external monitor?
Using Blackmagic ultrastudio mini monitor to send SDI signal to FSI monitor. Have installed the latest driver for the Blackmagic ultrastudio, which is approved for Adobe CC.

make sure the timeline is selected and play it.

That’s the problem — the timeline (which is reflected in the “Program Monitor”) does not play on the external monitor. Only the Source Monitor’s contents play on the external monitor.
How do I switch it or open up the Program Monitor for viewing on the external monitor in Premiere CC?
It happens by default tin Premiere CS6. “Enable Transmit” is already turned on in the Program Monitor menu.

The behavior in CC should match the behavior in CS6. As Chris mentioned, whatever panel you have selected should the one that outputs to the external monitor.
Questions:
– What Premiere and Blackmagic version are you on?
– What are your sequence settings?

Changing the Fields option in Sequence Settings to “No Fields (Progressive Scan)” fixed it.
